Our goal is to offer you high quality, custom solution windows and doors through a convenient web channel. We are also applying the same principle when it comes to collecting and processing your personal data.
We wrote thisPrivacy Policy documentin order to explainthe information that we collectfromUsers and the purpose for which it is applied. We are doing our best to ensure that our positions are unambiguous and easily understood.


We use the following methods to collect information:

  1. If you share your information with us, or if you give us the right to collect it by using the Seicom.ee web shop, you as the User will be asked for permission to apply the information relating to you. The information collected on you includes the following:
    – Given name,
    – Surname,
    – Telephone number,
    – E-mail address,
    – Physical delivery address (street, house, apartment, county, postal code).
    This information also includes information on the products and services that Users have acquired for themselves.
  2. Using the service, the website also collects technical information via the use of cookies.


Cookies

We prepare and save the User’s cookies with the goal of making it more convenient to use the web shop. A cookie is a small text file, which is sent to and saved in the User’s computer by websites that the User visits. The cookie is saved in the file catalogue of the User’s web browser. If the User has visited the website before, the web browser reads the cookie and forwards the corresponding information to the element which initially saved the cookie. For what purposes do we use cookies
?

  • Shopping basket contents – By saving the contents of the shopping basket, the User can close their web browser without having to worry about losing their selections and can pick up next time right where they left off.
  • Log-in status – The User’s log-in information is saved, which means that entering the shop takes place automatically for the User in the case of repeat visits, and does not require continuous rechecking.
  • Google Analytics – The User’s data is saved for the purpose of collecting usage statistics. In addition, the User’s IP address is saved in the Google Analytics data set. Statistics permit us to obtain an overview of the User’s behaviour patterns, highlight the website’s deficiencies and, in the long-term, make the web shop more personal and user friendly.


What do we do with the collected information

We use the collected information for the purposes of providing service. As a result, we do not collect any data on Users that is not necessary for providing service. The information associated with the user is available based on need:

  • to the User
  • to the production supervisors
  • to the body administering the website
  • to the partner offering transportation service

All associated partners share principles that are similar to our own, and store and implement the User’s personal data using the same basic truths. In order to protect the interests of the User, the processing of personal data by different parties only takes place under the Contract.

We use the Client’s data for the purposes of production, for the issuing of invoices and accounting.

The User’s data is important to our logistics partners for the purpose of providing service. Without collecting key data it is impossible to provide service.

By collecting statistical data we are simply bearing in mind the User’s interest in receiving a more convenient to use service and the problem-free operation of the website. Statistical data permits us to analyse the User’s behaviour patterns when using the web service, permitting us to see which content pages have been used the most and in which areas the Users are encountering shortcomings.


Direct marketing notices

The e-mail address is used to send direct marketing messages if the User has given their consent (by agreeing to the Privacy Policy). If the User no long wishes to receive direct marketing notices, they must select the corresponding reference in the footer of the e-mail or submit a cessation request to the address andmekaitse@seicom.ee

If personal data is processed for the purposes of direct marketing, the User has the right to submit objections at any time in regards to the initial and further processing of its personal data, notifying customer service thereof at the address andmekaitse@seicom.ee


How and when we share data
?

SeiCom is an international service provider. By using our services you consent to your data possibly being used for the purposes of providing service outside of your home country.

Information associated with the User is exceptionally availableonly to the User, the production supervisors, they body administering the website and partners offering transport service.

SeiCom shares the User’s data with official authorities, if there is sufficient reason to believe that actions of the User, towards the company or other Users, are malicious.

Communication with banks for the purpose of paying for purchases is encrypted, in order to ensure the security of the User’s personal banking identifiers. The web shop does not have access to banking information.

In other instances we only forward personal data to third parties if we have the consent of the individual whose data is being forwarded.


How long do we keep the User’s information

Data is used actively for the purpose of keeping in mind the Client’s interests and during the period when the application of data is necessary for meeting the goal of the provision of service. Keeping in mind the Client’s interests, there is no time limit on the period for storing data. The deletion of data takes place based on a written request from the Client, which is sent to the addres andmekaitse@seicom.ee When deleting data we apply the process to all associated systems, including our own backup copies and those of our partners.


Your rights as a user regarding the administration of your data

As a Client, you have the right to review your personal data by submitting the corresponding inquiry to the address andmekaitse@seicom.ee You cannot review personal data if that right is restricted by legislation.

The User has the right at any time to withdraw their consent for the processing of personal data, except in instances when the processing of personal data is permitted by law without your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the legality of data that was processed based on consent prior to the withdrawal of consent.

If you find that your personal data is not being processed in the manner prescribed in the terms and conditions of the Contract or legislation, you have the right to demand the termination of the processing of your personal data and access to your personal data by the company providing the service, SeiCom, and the deletion of the collected data. The corresponding request can be submitted to service provider SeiCom, at the address andmekaitse@seicom.ee or you can contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate at www.aki.ee
